In 2011, Food Source was the first to air freight vacuum packed whole Musang King durians to Hong Kong make them available for direct purchase through our online store, allowing Hong Kong consumers to chance to enjoy the freshest king of fruits —harvested and air-freighted within 24 hours.

The first to introduce frozen durian puree from Malaysia

In 2009, Food Source was the first to import frozen D24 durian puree and durian ice-cream cakes from Malaysia. We promoted this delicacy at exhibitions organized by the HK Trade Development Council in various cities across China, generating significant interest.

The first to establish a live lobster packaging and export base in Dubai

In 1998, the founders of Food Source were the first to establish a live lobster base in the desert area of Dubai, packaging live lobsters for export to Hong Kong and Japan.

The first to use large oxygenated transport tanks to air freight premium live Australian seafood

In 1995, we were the first to use large sized oxygenated fish tanks to air freight premium Australian seafood, such as grouper, snapper, and coral trout. This technology helped maintain the live seafood in optimal condition, significantly improving quality and condition of the seafood on arrival. We later introduced this technology in Indonesia, collaborating with local companies to develop and import a wider variety of seafood to Hong Kong.
